As every year, the Week of Anthropology sets off this November (Institut Català d’Antropologia). This year, the kick-off activity is a round table titled: Gender 3.0 and chaired by GNEI’s coordinator Olga Jubany (UB, ICA). The round table is coordinated by Begonya Enguix (UOC, ICA) and speakers will be Dolores Juliano (UB, ICA) Serena Brigidi (UVIC-UCC, URV) and Paco Abril (Homes Igualitaris-AHIGE).
The round table will revolve around three key issues that shape the political, social and scientific debates: violence over women, prostitution and commodification of bodies, sexualities and care, and the current understandings of masculinity.
The event will take place on Monday 28 of Novembre from 18h30 to 21h at the Sala Gran at the Facultat de Geografia i Història (Montalegre, 6-8, Barcelona)
