Today we hosted the event:
“Los arreglos matrimoniales en Cataluña ayer y hoy: (dis)continuidad en una sociedad crecientemente diversa” organised by GENI and CER Migracions
The seminar has travelled in time through the changing but ever present reality of arranged marriages looking at the phenomenon of marriages among kin in the 19th century and arranged marriages among migrant populations today in Barcelona.
